Despite that March is a super busy month for us, I’d decided to gladly accept the media invite from Si Min of Concorde Hotel to try out their Harvest of the Sea Buffet at Spices Cafe, because it came at a right time. A time for the fiance and I to unwind from all the stress from wedding preps and house reno works, and just indulge in yummy food, even if it was for awhile! 🙂
When you arrive at the hotel’s main entrance, turn left and you will see a stunning brightly-lit cafe welcoming you 🙂
When one enters Spices Cafe, one will be amazed by how spacious and how well-furnished the place is 🙂
Next up, the FOOD!!!
Spices Cafe carries a wide array of variety of food in buffet style!
Just look at these mouth-watering dishes :O
The highlight of the media event was of course none other than the seafood menu via the Harvest of the Sea Buffet!
Seafood lovers, especially crab-lovers, you have got to read this!
The buffet spread offers different crab flavours including salted egg york (MY FAV! YUMS :P), black pepper, butter and white pepper, chilli and more!
And of course, we had to try each of everything! 😛
Black Pepper Crab
We were also very privileged to have tried their yummy lobsters in gratinated cheese and sambal chilli flavours!
As if not satisfying our taste buds enough, Concorde Hotel had also very kindly served us succulent braised baby abalone with broccoli and mushroom!
Last but not least, we tried their laksa and boy, albeit the spiciness, it was indeed full of flavour! Most importantly, the laksa soup is not diluted like some other laksas I had tried before.
